BEAUTIFUL, MODERN LOG CABIN!!!!! This is the PERFECT vacation home for two couples. HOT TUB, game room with 9' regulation pool table, large screen tv, foos ball, and darts. The main floor is very spacious - you will marvel at the tree that is the centerpiece (and structural support!) of the cabin. The combination living/dining area has just what you need to relax - wood burning fireplace, HDTV 27" flat screen tv, cd/dvd players, and soaring, cathedral ceiling. The kitchen has a cooktop island with bar seating for the chef in your group to prepare those great meals!
The douglas fir open staircase leads up to a spacious loft bedroom with a Queen bed. There is plenty of floor space if you have children and want to bring sleeping bags/air mattresses.
Downstairs has the game room with a full-sized futon, laundry and full bath - also leads out to the large six person hot tub on the back porch. And, oh, what a hot tub! It is protected from rain/snow from the upstairs deck - so great for relaxing!
Southern Comfort is ideally located just a short drive to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis, Linville and Blowing Rock. The Watauga River is within walking distance from the cabin - it is state-stocked with trout - great for fishing, wading - just having a great time!
